The main events in year 2004 will be as follows,

1)     Belt grading exams will be as follows,

a)      31^st Jan.(for students appearing upto Purple-1) & 1^st Feb.  2004 (for students appearing for Purple-2 to Brown-3)

b)      2^nd May (for students appearing upto Purple-1) & 3^rd May 2004 (for students appearing for Purple-2 to Brown-3)

c)       4^th Sept.(for students appearing upto Purple-1) & 5^th Sept. 2004 (for students appearing for Purple-2 to Brown-3)

2)     Black belt grading: Apr.2004 last week to May 2004 first week.(All students who passed their brown-3 belt before 24 months should contact Sensei with their brown-3 belt certificate.)

3)     “Isshinryu best of the best championships” 1st May 2004. (There will be a selection round in 3^rd week of Feb.2004 and only 60 students from Pune will be selected.) Teams from Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Karnataka will be participating.  

There will be separate grand championship trophies for,

 i) Basic level i.e. white-yellow-green belts (below and above 14 years

    categories)

ii) Intermediate level i.e. blue - purple 1 – purple 2 belts (below and above

    14 years categories) 

iii) Advance level i.e. brown 1 – brown 2 –brown 3 belts (below and above

    14 years categories)  

iv) Black belts (below and above 14 years categories) &

v)  Kobudo (below and above 14 years categories)

4)     Isshinryu National Karate Championships 2004 will be held on 26^th and 27^th Dec.2004.( This is a compulsory tournament for IKKAI and OKAI students).

5)     Bo camp : 8days Bo camp will be held from 2^nd May 2004 to 9^th May 2004, Okinawan Kobudo kata “Sakugawa No kon” will be taught to students attending the camp. For further details contact Sensei Salil.(Maximum no. of students in camp will be 20 only)
